Conversion and extension of single-family house

The house, built in 1994, is part of a semi-detached house with three floors. Due to a steep slope, the main entrance, the kitchen and the dining room of the house are at ground floor level, but the rear garden and the main living area are at basement level. The living and dining areas are connected by a generous two-storey area.

An extension at basement level has created further living space oriented towards the garden. The new terrace on the ground floor expands the possibilities for use of the ground floor with a covered seating area and offers the dining area a direct link to the outdoor space.
In the course of the renovation of the existing house, the bathroom and kitchen were renewed on the one hand, and on the other, woodwork was renewed or replaced. The former dominance of the cool-looking natural stone floor was broken up by combinations of different colours.
