The conversion of the existing corner building requires extensive intervention in the building fabric. As a result of the earlier changes of use and corresponding conversions from a hotel to a retirement home and later to flats, poor floor plans, problems in the building structure and in the façades resulted.
While respecting the basic structure, generous, continuous flats are planned. The structural, energy and acoustic requirements for the outer shell led to new street façades that correspond to the character of a residential building.
